Texture and Pattern

Samphire Hoe, Dover, Kent. December 28, 2006.

A favorite subject - anything that screams 'texture', creating patterns, making you want to reach out and touch it. This was a patch I found interesting on the shingle beach at Samphire Hoe. The colors looked amazing, especially surrounded by the bleak greys, soft browns, and dull greens of the cliff landscape on an overcast winter day.
